New

  • Remember your desktop window. ReadAware restores its size, position, and maximized or fullscreen state on reopening. Returning from maximized preserves the previous normal window bounds, and saved positions are adjusted when a monitor is disconnected. Window placement stays local to each device. (#26)

Fixed

  • Android book imports. Files selected through Android's file picker now use the app's private cache, avoiding failures caused by unavailable or unwritable external cache folders. (#27)
  • EPUB compatibility with older Android WebViews. EPUB metadata parsing no longer requires newer browser grouping functions, fixing import and opening failures on WebViews without those APIs. (#25)
  • Reading position and scrolling. Saved positions and passage links restore the intended visible text, and forward/backward navigation in scroll mode moves by the reader's viewport height rather than a single pixel.
