A Cambria patch with two fixes: ReadAware starts again on e-readers with an older browser engine, and books reopen where you last read — including after turning back.

Fixed

  • Could not start on some Android e-readers. Devices whose system web engine dates from before late 2023 (many e-ink readers without Google Play) have stopped at a "Could not start" screen since 0.6.0. The app now fills in the engine features it relies on itself, and that screen names the engine version so a report can be acted on. Fixes the startup crash in #30.
  • Books reopening at a page you had left. Since 0.6.0 the app kept the furthest page reached and ignored turning back, so closing a book after going back to an earlier page reopened it at the later one. A book now reopens where you last were, on every device, and existing progress is corrected from your reading history on first launch.
