SpeakType v0.1.0

SpeakType v0.1.0 is the initial release of the macOS Apple Silicon desktop widget:
push-to-talk voice typing with local Whisper, offline use after you download a model, and privacy by default (no cloud, accounts, or telemetry).

Install the DMG, move SpeakType to Applications, grant Microphone and Accessibility, then download a model under Settings → Models. Default hotkey is ⌘+Control. Requires macOS 12+ on Apple Silicon.

MIT licensed, pre-1.0; this release is the widget only — cross-platform CLI remains in the repo.
