Cannot get application to run at all

Have tried everything I can think of and cannot get this to run either in Windows or on Pi. I was hoping this would provide a tidy solution to my compatability issues as below.

Trying this for the first time on a Pi4b. Get following message:

Background-Pi4b with Waveshare dual rs 485 and single can. Hoping to match 2 x LG Resu10R to a Sungrow SH6 0RS.

Torsten Before I get too deep into this, could you advise if my aims are achievable pls? I have a Sungrow Hybrid SH6.0rs connected to two LG RESU10R batteries. Connects fine to each battery individually but both batteries cannot be connected on the same RS485 bus because they are both primary batteries and have the same Modbus address of 15. So I am looking at changing the address on one battery representing the second battery with a different address. I researched your inverter and battery. Why don't you use CAN to communicate instead of RS485? What protocols does the inverter and battery support?

Beg your pardon. Battery only has RS485, Inverter has both. However Inverter relies on its master slave relationship via the RS485.
