Elves can run a driver with bounded helpers on the same task and exchange persistent reports with Lantern.

  • Save model profiles for leads, proposers, investigators, implementers, critics, and reviewers.
  • Collect separate proposals before a critique round and driver synthesis.
  • Generate helper kickoff packets with scoped progress and completion reporting.
  • Track all contributors and require a separate final reviewer at the exact commit.
  • Manage writer worktrees, owned paths, dependencies, integration gates, and recovery.
  • Consume Lantern reports at safe checkpoints with durable receipt handling.

Standalone Elves remains available without Lantern. Linked reporting requires Lantern protocol 1, included in Lantern 0.12.0. Windows Elves execution uses WSL2.
