AIIMS Encoding Repair 1.0.1

One-click repair of garbled ("mojibake") characters in a WordPress / WooCommerce database — the â€", ’, é-style corruption left after a bad-charset import or migration. Fixes product titles, descriptions and any other content.

Features

  • Dry-run preview then Apply — only rewrites cells that actually contain the corruption bytes.
  • Serialization-safe — ACF fields, options and page-builder data stay valid.
  • Stateless & safe — admin-only, no cron, no front-end hooks, no stored options. Removing the plugin leaves no trace.
  • WP-CLI: wp aiims-encoding dry / wp aiims-encoding fix.
  • Built-in GitHub auto-updates — no external library required; future versions update from Dashboard → Updates.

Install

Upload aiims-encoding-repair.zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then run from Tools → AIIMS Encoding Repair. Always Dry-run and back up the database first.
