BugDrop v0.2.2 makes captured browser failures easier for coding agents to follow from action to error.
Highlights:
- Interleaves clicks, failed requests, console output, and runtime errors with millisecond-relative timestamps
- Captures bounded, redacted stack traces from Error objects, uncaught errors, and unhandled promise rejections
- Prefers stable
data-testid,data-test, anddata-cyclick selectors, with structural selectors as a fallback - Uses the same compact timeline format in Markdown and Jira handoffs
- Shows stack traces clearly in the local review screen before export
- Replaces the popup's browser confirmation dialog with an explicit in-product delete confirmation
Update for unpacked installations:
- Download and extract
bugdrop-0.2.2.zip. - Replace the existing extension files, or point Chrome at the extracted folder.
- Open
chrome://extensionsand click Reload for BugDrop.
Verification:
- 18 unit tests passed, including stack capture and redaction regressions
- Full Chromium extension flow passed with the production permissions
