BugDrop v0.2.2 makes captured browser failures easier for coding agents to follow from action to error.

Highlights:

  • Interleaves clicks, failed requests, console output, and runtime errors with millisecond-relative timestamps
  • Captures bounded, redacted stack traces from Error objects, uncaught errors, and unhandled promise rejections
  • Prefers stable data-testid, data-test, and data-cy click selectors, with structural selectors as a fallback
  • Uses the same compact timeline format in Markdown and Jira handoffs
  • Shows stack traces clearly in the local review screen before export
  • Replaces the popup's browser confirmation dialog with an explicit in-product delete confirmation

Update for unpacked installations:

  1. Download and extract bugdrop-0.2.2.zip.
  2. Replace the existing extension files, or point Chrome at the extracted folder.
  3. Open chrome://extensions and click Reload for BugDrop.

Verification:

  • 18 unit tests passed, including stack capture and redaction regressions
  • Full Chromium extension flow passed with the production permissions
  • Both GitHub Actions runs for main and v0.2.2 passed
  • Extension syntax, manifest assets, permission boundary, ZIP integrity, and desktop HTTP security checks passed
