Release v2.0.0
TSA 2.0 retires the remaining external-search wrappers and removes the expired MCP compatibility classes, while preserving native symbol, graph, AST, semantic, and change-impact workflows.
Breaking changes
- Complete the removal of external-search wrappers:
search.batch,project.files,project.tools,--batch-search,--batch-search-queries-json,--check-tools, and thelist-filesconsole script are retired. The earliersearch.content/search.grepremoval remains in effect. - TSA no longer requires ripgrep or fd. Project discovery and live symbol verification run in process; symbol, graph, AST and semantic retrieval remain available.
- Remove the expired
MCPToolcompatibility base and the unregisteredUniversalAnalyzeTool. ExtendBaseMCPToolfor custom tools and usestructure action=analyzeorAnalyzeCodeStructureToolfor structural analysis.
Fixed
change-impactbranch mode now compares the complete branch from its GitFlow target merge base instead of reporting only the latest commit.- SQLite read handles used by Synapse and schema-integrity tests close deterministically, preventing cross-test FD accumulation that could collide with low-limit regression tests.
Verification
- Release CI: 10/10 full platform and Python axes passed.
- Local comprehensive suite: 24,717 passed, 98 skipped, 2 rerun.
- PyPI wheel and source distribution verified after trusted publishing.
