Companion skill: a trigger that fits the listing
dsx sync now installs a companion skill with a shorter, trigger-first description, so droids load dsx in the right moments.
Droid lists each skill as a single line, capped at 200 characters, from a budget that personal skills only share while it lasts. The previous description led with what dsx is and ran to 264 characters, so the listing cut it off partway through its trigger. The new one is 165 characters:
Use when past Droid sessions hold the answer (prior work, the user's exact words, pre-compaction context, usage) or after two failed attempts at one tooling problem.
It names the cases that should load the skill. Two of them are new: the user's exact words, for recovering verbatim instructions after a compaction, and pre-compaction context.
Upgrading
Install as usual. The installer runs dsx sync --apply, which updates ~/.agents/skills/dsx/SKILL.md. If you keep ~/.agents in git, commit the one-line description change. Nothing else in the skill, the CLI, or the --json shapes changed.
Verification
bun test(62 passing),bunx tsc --noEmit,bun run build, andbun run compile, then a smoke test of the compiled binary.dsx sync --applyfrom the compiled binary, against a~/.agentsclone that already carries the new description, leaves the checkout clean.
