Upgrade notes
7.3.0 moves DeepLinkDispatch to current build tooling (#397), which raises the minimum versions for projects that use it:
- compileSdk 37.2. The
deeplinkdispatchAAR now declaresminCompileSdk=37andminCompileMinorSdk=2(7.2.2 declared 1). Apps and libraries that depend on it must compile against Android API 37.2 or later, otherwise thecheck*AarMetadatatask fails. - Kotlin 2.3 or newer. The artifacts are built with Kotlin 2.4.20 (Kotlin metadata 2.4, was 2.3), so consumers need a Kotlin 2.3+ compiler. They also depend on
kotlin-stdlib2.4.20 (was 2.3.0). - Gradle plugin.
deeplinkdispatch-gradle-plugindepends on AGP 9.4.1, the Kotlin Gradle plugin 2.4.20 and the KSP Gradle plugin 2.3.12 (were 8.13.2, 2.3.0 and 2.3.4). Gradle resolves the build classpath to the highest requested version, so applying the plugin raises those versions in your build. It now targets Java 17 (was 11). - Processor.
deeplinkdispatch-processordepends on the KSP API 2.3.12 (was 2.3.4) and onkotlin-metadata-jvm2.4.20. - Unchanged:
minSdk16, and Java 11 bytecode fordeeplinkdispatchanddeeplinkdispatch-base.
