ConsoleX3 is the latest in my Airwindows mix software. It's the first to not have separate types of plugin: it'll start up set to Channel, so what you do is put one on the Buss and then set the Channel/Buss control for that one all the way to Buss. If you doubleclick that control it goes to exactly the middle, which is 'no Console processing' (which I've called Pre), and if you have a full mix of many Channels feeding a Buss, and you want a particular track to be quieter and fall back slightly with subtle expansion, you can nudge its Channel control away from full Channel, which will open that channel up and expand it slightly.
