AISlopWatch

AI is fine. What people do with it often isn't. A logbook of AI cringe — screenshotted, labeled, and blamed. We're anti-lazy and anti-grift, not anti-AI; we just collect the receipts.

The two crimes

  • Slop — low-effort, machine-extruded filler that nobody read back before shipping. The "Top 10" listicle that's three sentences in a trench coat; the blender review written by something that has never owned hands.
  • Hype — wide-awake humans swearing a chatbot loves them, will replace your job by Tuesday, or made them $40k with a single prompt.

Bonus points when a post is both: AI-written cringe about how important AI is.

How it works

  • Browse — newest first, or sort by most-blamed / most-viewed, filtered by verdict (slop · hype · guide · tell · meta).
  • Blame it — hit 🔨 blame this slop. One blame per visitor, cookieless, no account. The most-blamed bubble up to the Hall of Shame.
  • Comment — sign in with GitHub and weigh in at the bottom of any post.
  • Submit a sighting — caught some in the wild? See below.

Submit a sighting

Screenshot it before they quietly delete it, then open a sighting →. Note where you found it, what gave it away, and who profits — exhibits beat assertions. The community votes 👍 / 👎; winners (or an editor's nod) get published automatically, credited to you.

No trackers, no slop

System fonts only. No webfonts, no third-party scripts, no cookies, no analytics that watch you. The only numbers we keep are aggregate blames and views — we count the slop, not the visitor.
