Choose a tag to compare

@aistudy11 aistudy11 released this 19 Oct 03:17

Use Poster.sh from your Node backend or MCP client through the same existing adapter.

  • Adds the supported @poster-sh/mcp/api, ./server and ./http package exports from the canonical source.
  • Includes DEVELOPERS.md with installation, API/MCP contracts, real costs, task states, error handling and idempotent retries.
  • Includes examples/readonly.mjs: free quotes and reads of your existing owned posters only. No creation, task advancement or automatic retry.
  • Keeps the existing four MCP tools and Poster-owned identity, pricing, credits and task execution. This is not a separate SDK or billing system.

Install:

npm install https://github.com/aistudy11/poster-mcp/releases/download/v0.1.3/poster-sh-mcp-0.1.3.tgz

Read the developer guide and MCP setup. Keep your own Poster API Key on your backend. Quotes and reads do not spend generation credits; creation and continuing an approved job retain their existing paid/confirmation semantics.

Earlier versions, including v0.1.2, remain available. The v0.1.2 archive does not provide the named API export; use v0.1.3 for the developer quick start. No npm registry release is made.

Poster MCP 0.1.2 — keyless discovery, authenticated operations

@aistudy11 aistudy11 released this 18 Oct 07:15

Poster MCP 0.1.2 lets clients and directories discover the four tool definitions without supplying a Poster API Key. Every business request still requires a configured key and is refused before HTTP when it is missing. Creation caps, explicit confirmation and existing Poster authorization/billing are unchanged.

The official SDK stdio suite passes all20 tests, including keyless tool discovery and refusal of all four business operations with zero HTTP requests. Includes the official logo, versioned npx quick start and examples. This remains a local stdio adapter, not a remote HTTP MCP endpoint. No paid generation was run for this release.

@aistudy11 aistudy11 released this 18 Oct 06:57

Poster MCP connects a local stdio-capable AI client to Poster.sh's AI Poster Generator API.

This release adds the official Poster.sh logo, a copyable version-pinned npx configuration, examples and setup/credit/privacy guidance. The four runtime tools and existing API behavior are unchanged. Requires Node.js 20.10+, your own Poster API Key, and an explicit per-poster credit cap before new creation is allowed. Quotes and reads do not spend generation credits; creation and continuing an approved job require confirmation.

The attached package contains only the MIT adapter, README, license and official logo. No parent application source or credentials. Follow the repository README for setup; this release is a local stdio adapter, not a hosted remote MCP endpoint.

@aistudy11 aistudy11 released this 18 Oct 06:37

Standalone local stdio MCP tools for Poster.sh: quote_poster, create_poster, get_poster and advance_poster.

Use your own existing Poster API Key in private local client configuration. New creation is disabled until an operator sets a per-poster limit; both mutation tools require explicit confirmation. No key or credentials are included. See README for install, pricing, error and retry boundaries.

This release distributes only the independently written adapter under MIT. It does not publish the parent website source, add a remote MCP endpoint or claim an npm registry publication. Existing business logic remains in the Poster API.
