  • First-run orientation tour: New users now get a brief guided walkthrough of the app on first launch, and it's replayable anytime from Settings.
  • Dedicated About screen: Credits and app info have moved out of the Settings footer into their own About screen for a cleaner Settings layout.

  • Notification permission fix-it banner: If a map-rotation alert is turned on but the OS-level notification permission has been denied or revoked (Android especially), Settings now shows a one-tap "Fix" banner that jumps straight to your system notification settings — no more alerts silently failing with zero feedback.

Fixed

  • Notification icon showing as a blank white square on some devices: When the primary notification icon failed to resolve, the fallback icon used was the app's opaque launcher art, which Android's status-bar renderer paints as a solid white box instead of a shape. Replaced with a proper silhouette-only fallback icon.
