v6.4
What's been added?
- A Working Hours exception: where the choice for the day is between socialisation and meeting the required number of working hours, the latter MAY be reasonably decreased at my discretion.
- A Scheduling exception: if an activity immediately before a session overruns and prevents rescheduling in time, this is not a violation, and the session MUST be rescheduled as soon as I become available.
- A Sections To Address item on Operational States, which is incomplete in four respects: no Level covers an unplanned lapse out of the CCC altogether; there is no backstop list of provisions that MUST NOT be breached under any circumstances; there is no time-scaled re-entry protocol for returning to ordinary operation; and the per-Level requirements are too vague to be useful. All four MUST be addressed by the next minor or major update.
What's changed?
- Scheduling is off trial and now concerns work sessions specifically: all work sessions for the day MUST be scheduled before breakfast, and a session may be rescheduled at any time before it starts or within the first 10% of its scheduled duration (previously, a block could be rescheduled at any time before it finished, and missing one incurred only a fifth-degree breach). A fourth-degree breach.
- Working Hours are now measured in the sessions scheduled under Scheduling rather than in Pomodoros; the no-interruption requirement carries over unchanged.
- The Sleep Schedule has been relaxed by 30 minutes across the board, reverting to the pre-v6.2 times: up by 7:31 AM, in bed by 9:45 PM, all activity ceased by 10:05 PM, falling asleep by 11:10 PM (previously 7:01 AM / 9:15 PM / 9:35 PM / 10:40 PM). Talking to my girlfriend is now permitted after the evening activity cutoff, alongside reading and structured philosophical activities.
- Reading: talking to my girlfriend is now an accepted alternative to the daily hour of reading, alongside structured philosophical inquiry.
- Chores are now one hour per calendar week rather than specifically on Saturday or Sunday; the stray reference to 1.5 hours has been corrected to one hour.
- Paragraphs are no longer split across pages.
v6.3
What's been added?
- A new Scheduling section under Routine Obligations. The section is on trial: missing a block incurs only a fifth-degree breach until the next minor release.
- A requirement to determine the out-of-term Sleep Schedule within the first week after the term ends.
What's changed?
- Penalties have been halved: the base penalty is now 150 burpees, or a total of 300 push-ups and squats (previously 300 and 600 respectively).
- Penalties are no longer postponable — all penalties MUST be fulfilled within the allocated period, with no exceptional circumstances. Instead, any provision to be exercised under exceptional circumstances MUST be logged in advance (under Provisional Modifications or otherwise) in order to avoid incurring a penalty.
What's been removed?
- The Driving section in its entirety.
v6.2
What's been added?
- A home-time shift in the Sleep Schedule — all prescribed times move one hour forward when I am home.
What's changed?
- The Sleep Schedule has been made 30 minutes stricter across the board: in bed by 9:15 PM, all activity ceased by 9:35 PM, falling asleep by 10:40 PM (previously 9:45 PM / 10:05 PM / 11:10 PM).
- Structured philosophical activities permitted after the evening activity cutoff now explicitly exclude writing poetry.
- Working Hours: taking a day off now only requires documenting it under Provisional Modifications by no later than the end of the next day (previously, the exact provisions lifted for the day had to be documented).
- There have been changes to [REDACTED] sections.
- Minor typo and page-layout fixes.
v6.1
What's been added?
- A new Backlog section under Meta Obligations — a no-deadline, no-obligation reservoir of candidate future sections (e.g. daily meditation, posture correction exercises, an N-item duty checklist quota, a mechanism for frontloading deadline tasks).
- The annual health screening requirement has been reinstated in Physiological Improvements as a comprehensive yearly blood panel, with the exact set of markers left to discretion.
What's changed?
- Leisure Constraints has been suspended until the Working Hours requirements change and resumption is deemed necessary, as it proved redundant alongside Working Hours and did not address the underlying prioritisation problem.
- Several provisions have been made stricter, alongside minor formatting and layout fixes (from v6.0.1).
- Sections To Address has been updated: the future-sections and health-screening items have been resolved and removed.
v6.0
What's been added?
- A new Operational States framework that adjusts CCC requirements during periods of adversity while preserving long-term adherence.
- Three Operational State levels (Strain, Crisis, and Survival) with corresponding modifications to obligations and penalties.
- A comprehensive Operational State Matrix covering most major sections of the CCC.
- Additional safeguards intended to prevent abandonment of the CCC during difficult circumstances.
What's changed?
- Conduct Enforcement has been significantly expanded and reworked through the introduction of Operational States.
- The overall philosophy of the CCC has shifted towards graceful degradation during adversity rather than strict binary compliance.
- Many routine, health, long-term, and meta obligations now include structured fallback requirements under adverse conditions.
- Penalty enforcement has been made more flexible during severe circumstances, including reduced penalties and deferred completion.
- Physiological Improvements has been reorganised into a standalone section.
- The Sleep Schedule has been slightly tightened with an additional morning requirement.
- Entrepreneurial Practice tracking has been refreshed and expanded.
- Sections To Address have been updated to reflect the new priorities introduced by the Operational States framework.
What's been removed?
- The jaw-opening exercise requirement.
- The annual health screening requirement.
- The posture reminder recommendation.
v5.7
I've been experiencing some issues with release summaries, so this one briefly summarises changes of multiple versions (from v5.4 to v5.7).
What’s been added?

- Additional dietary control, including calorie tracking.
- Expanded reflection and review systems, including monthly journal review.
- Optional philosophical inquiry as an alternative to reading.
- Additional startup tracking entries in Long-Term Obligations.
- New meta requirement to summarise updates externally (e.g. GitHub).
What’s changed?
- Physical Activity (Physiological Improvements) has been significantly reworked from gym/performance-focused goals to health/rehabilitation-focused habits.
- Sleep Schedule has been tightened with stricter timings and more explicit structure.
- Reading requirements have been strengthened and made more consistent (fewer provisional elements, broader applicability).
- Routine structure has been reorganised with a new section inserted, shifting numbering and grouping.
- Driving goals have been simplified, removing earlier administrative deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial Practice now tracks multiple ideas instead of a single entry.
- Video/Instagram usage constraints have been slightly relaxed and clarified.
- The Paragon has been reframed as a non-binding reference rather than an implicitly guiding standard.
What’s been removed?
- Earlier strength/posture training requirements in favour of the new health-focused approach.

What's changed?
- Driving is moving forward, I have to actually start taking lessons or learn theory this month.

- Driving Section that specifies the deadline for starting to deal with a driving licence.
