This version is a Windows-only pre-release with no functional changes on other platforms. It has the following changes:

  • Configure LAMMPS-GUI as a pure GUI application so it will no longer spawn a terminal window
  • Make sure file descriptors for stdout and stderr are valid so we can capture output
  • Add support for cryptographically signed executables and shared libraries using a self-signed certificate (for now)
  • Document installation of the self-signed root certificate to silence any warnings
