What's new

Both TV servers now work with any Android TV remote (arrows, OK and Back — no air-mouse needed). Tested on Android 9 and Android 16 TV.

TV Server

• OK or Down opens the channel list; Left/Right move along the channels, OK plays.
• Up in the channel list goes to the categories (Favorites, News, Sports…).
• Up while watching shows the buttons: play/pause, sound, previous, channel list, next, full screen.
• Back closes the channel list or buttons before leaving the page.
• The "Welcome" and "Download APK" pop-ups close by themselves.
• Full screen now also works on older TVs (Android 9).

BDIX TV Server 2

• A channel is selected as soon as the page opens; Left/Right move one channel at a time.
• OK plays; OK again on the playing channel goes full screen. Up = player, Down = channels.
• The remote no longer gets stuck in the Search box / on-screen keyboard.
• Back leaves full screen, then returns to the server list.

Also

• Server pages appear as soon as they have loaded enough to show, instead of waiting for every last file.
• Retry after a connection error now reloads the server page itself.

BDIX TV Server 2 (plusbox.tv) now works with the TV remote

• Left/Right moves one channel at a time; the channel row follows the focus.
• OK plays a channel. OK again on the playing channel goes fullscreen.
• Up moves to the player (OK = fullscreen), Down goes back to the channels.
• Back leaves fullscreen.
• A clear blue ring shows which channel is selected.

What's new

• Pull down to refresh the Streaming Servers list, or press the new refresh button (works with a TV remote). New servers added by SP NET show up right away.
• The server list also refreshes by itself when you open it, if it's more than a minute old.
• Servers on plain http:// addresses (public BDIX / FTP servers, not just local 172.16.x.x ones) now open in the app.
