FullbookTranslate v0.8.0: nonfiction whole-book cases
Adds complete Chinese-to-English The Art of War and Japanese-to-English My Individualism EPUB cases with source files, translated files, whole-book English and Chinese reviews, user-facing metrics, and honest limitations. The public library now exposes structured content_type and subjects metadata across all six cases for website, search, and answer-engine discovery. Two incomplete nonfiction candidates were deliberately rejected from publication after whole-book review found untranslated passages.
FullbookTranslate cases v0.7.0
Adds two verified whole-book CJK-to-English cases: The True Story of Ah Q and The Red Laugh (Kesshouki). Each includes real source and translated EPUB files, user-facing metrics, whole-book English and Simplified Chinese reviews, and explicit publication-readiness limits. A failed Japanese candidate with major untranslated sections was not admitted.
FullbookTranslate v0.6.2 — bilingual editorial reviews
Adds complete Simplified Chinese editions of both whole-book editorial reviews beside the source and translated EPUBs. Repository validation now requires both English and Chinese reports.
FullbookTranslate v0.6.1 — reader-first whole-book cases
Supersedes v0.6.0 as the current public case release. Keeps source, translation, and whole-book editorial review at the case root; adds structured review evidence and governance docs; and defers website case backlinks until those routes are deployed.
FullbookTranslate v0.6.0 — whole-book editorial evidence
Publishes complete editorial reviews for both whole-book cases, machine-readable review coverage and claim boundaries, reader-first case roots with source/translation/review side by side, and methodology, metrics, FAQ, and comparison policies.
FullbookTranslate v0.5.0 — case-first success library
This release reorganizes FullbookTranslate around readable, complete whole-book translation cases.\n\n- Groups cases by format, language pair, and book title.\n- Places downloadable source and translated EPUB files side by side.\n- Shows processing time, content size, structure checks, Codex review, and honest limitations.\n- Removes source-only probes and public engineering execution directories.\n- Publishes only two verified complete CJK-to-English success cases: Rashomon and A Madman's Diary.\n\nRun \python scripts/validate_repo.py\ to verify case contracts, file hashes, rights metadata, and EPUB containers.
FullbookTranslate v0.4.0
Public evidence policy
- Publishes only publication-authorized, non-failing Runs.
- Keeps failed product executions in private engineering evidence.
- Retains the complete Japanese-to-English Rashomon JSON-ID output, structure checks, and Codex review without a failed task timeline.
- Enforces the policy in repository validation and JSON schemas.
All five current public cases passed repository validation and GitHub Actions.
