StackMiner 0.1.0 Foundation Preview

This is the first public Windows foundation preview of StackMiner.

Windows validation

The release assets passed the automated
Windows verification run:

• SHA-256 verification for all packages;
• installer product and version metadata;
• portable ZIP startup and HTTP smoke tests;
• silent EXE installation in a per-user directory;
• installed runtime and API smoke tests;
• confirmation that no Windows service was installed; and
• clean shutdown and uninstallation.

Choose a download

• Windows installer: StackMiner-0.1.0-windows-x64-preview-setup.exe
• Portable Windows ZIP: StackMiner-0.1.0-windows-x64-preview.zip
• Verify the matching .sha256 file before running either package.

What this preview includes

• Bundled Python 3.14 runtime.
• Local FastAPI service bound to 127.0.0.1 by default.
• Embedded Angular dashboard.
• Local REST and WebSocket foundations.
• SQLite state storage.
• Windows start, stop, smoke-test, and uninstall flows.

Important limitation

This preview does not mine cryptocurrency. Production GPU kernels, pool connectivity, share
submission, and mining benchmarks are not included. It exists to validate installation, the
local runtime, and the control-plane foundation on Windows 10/11 x64.

Security and trust

• The preview does not install a Windows service or configure automatic startup.
• The application does not require an account and does not upload local telemetry to StackMiner.
• The installer is currently unsigned. Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning.
• Do not disable Windows Defender, SmartScreen, or another security control.
• Download only from this official Releases page and verify SHA-256.

The binary is distributed under the
StackMiner Binary License Agreement.
It permits use of unmodified official binaries and prohibits modification and redistribution.
