redistribute_statistics takes values for several windows in one call (issue #159). Each window carries its own values: windows: [{start, catchup_hour, values: [...]}, ...]. They are checked per window exactly as a single window's are: the count matches the window's periods, the sum matches the window total (normalize optional), none is negative, none is above max_per_hour, there is no reset or negative hour inside, and no windows overlap. Before, values went with exactly one window, so a history cleanup with 25 windows meant 25 calls and 25 full backups of the same series.
One backup and one write cover all the windows, followed by one next_compile check.
All or nothing: if any window fails, nothing is written, and the refusal names every failing window with its reason, not just the first.
Every window or none: values are given for every window or for none. Top-level values still works for a single window; giving both forms is refused.
Compact preview with several windows: each window shows hours, moved, methods, reference ratios and fit, the largest hour before/after, and by-month before/after, without by_hour and by_day. detail: true adds those back. This also applies to several detected windows. A single window's preview is unchanged.
