First public release.

Lock your vault behind a full-screen lock screen and unlock it with your fingerprint (macOS Touch ID or Windows Hello), a hardware security key, or a fallback password.

Highlights in 1.3.0:

  • First-run setup dialog prompts for a fallback password before the vault ever locks
  • Startup lock only engages when at least one unlock method can actually succeed (no more dead-end lock screens)
  • Optional end-to-end encrypted password storage (AES-256-GCM verifier with a PBKDF2-derived key)
  • Works the same on macOS and Windows 11
