v12.1.0 (Minor Release)

Status: Released

This is a new minor release of the github-actions package. It introduces new features and other backwards-compatible changes that should require little to no refactoring. Please read the description of changes below.

Description of Changes

  • Add a create-change-request workflow
    • This is expected to be used in non-versioned repositories to allow us to request a new deployment to ensure the currently deployed version is kept in-sync.
    • It uses the new alex-c-line command as introduced in v2.11.0

Additional Notes

  • I can then have two different usages of the same workflow per repository.
  • One of them is triggered by workflow_dispatch and requires the user to enter their reasons.
  • The other is triggered by schedule to keep the currently deployed version as in-sync as possible (in case of going out of drift if, for example, the environment variables change).
