Reika 0.1.0

First public release.

Reika is a coding agent CLI for local and hosted models, designed around small local models first. It talks to any OpenAI-compatible server (llama.cpp, MLX, vLLM, Ollama, hosted APIs). It doesn't make a small model smarter. It is careful with context, stops loops early, and says when it's stuck, so working with one is less frustrating.

This is a 0.x research and developer release: expect behavior and configuration to change between minor versions.

Install

npm i -g @alexwkleung/reika
pnpm add -g @alexwkleung/reika
brew install alexwkleung/tap/reika

Node 22 or newer for npm and pnpm; Homebrew brings its own. The command is reika either way.
