First launch
This build isn't notarized with a paid Apple Developer ID, so Gatekeeper asks for one explicit confirmation the first time.
macOS 15 (Sequoia) and newer:
- Double-click SmoothyStudio, then click Done (not Move to Trash).
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section — you'll see "SmoothyStudio" was blocked to protect your Mac.
- Click Open Anyway and confirm.
macOS 13–14: right-click (or Control-click) SmoothyStudio in Applications, choose Open, then Open in the dialog.
You only do this once. Terminal alternative, which also fixes a "damaged and can't be opened" message:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/SmoothyStudio.appRequirements
macOS 10.12 or later.
