VerifAxis v0.2.0 — Evidence Contract Alpha
Pre-releaseVerifAxis 0.2.0 is an exploratory alpha release of the reviewed claim/evidence export and offline verification contract.
It exports the explicit claim, verifier packets and hashes, complete recurrence trace, derived evidence chain, and named stopping decision. The verifier treats files as untrusted strict UTF-8 JSON and enforces a 1 MiB file limit, 32-level depth limit, 50,000-node limit, and 1,024-packet limit. Duplicate keys, malformed Unicode, digest tampering, trace-chain tampering, and conflicting summaries fail closed.
The OpenAI-compatible adapter requires HTTPS for remote credentials, with a loopback-only HTTP testing exception, and redacts endpoint error details. Evidence can contain prompts, candidates, counterexamples, verifier output, and timestamps; handle it as sensitive data.
This is not a truth machine, sandbox, hallucination eliminator, signed evidence system, or research-result claim.
PyPI status: verifaxis has no public project as of this release, and no publisher credential or trusted-publisher workflow was available. These exact-commit wheel and sdist assets are provided for inspection and GitHub installation; do not infer a PyPI publication.
