I saw that you recently worked on implementing a fix for overall channel balance. However, advanced users need the ability to correct more complex forms of channel imbalance between earphones. That’s why I’d really like to see a per-channel parametric equalizer in this app.
It should be possible to assign a channel to each equalizer band—either both channels, the left channel only, or the right channel only. It should also be possible to view the curve resulting from the sum of all bands applied separately to the left and right channels, and possibly to generate another curve based solely on the bands applied to both channels. However, the latter is not required. It is also necessary to implement the ability to import parametric equalizer presets containing equalizer band settings, as well as to export them in this format.
In these presets, the lines that follow the "Channel: L" line apply only to the left channel. The lines that follow the "Channel: R" line apply only to the right channel. The lines that follow the "Channel: ALL" line, as well as any lines that are not preceded by any of the lines listed above, apply to all channels.
