Overview

DayMate is a Single Page Application (SPA) designed to help users stay organized and efficient. It integrates three essential productivity tools:

• ✅ To-Do List App – Manage tasks with ease.
• ☀️ Weather App – Stay updated with real-time weather information.
• 📅 Calendar – Keep track of important dates and events.

Before accessing these features, users can sign in using Google authentication or their email and password.

Installation & Setup

To run DayMate locally, follow these steps:

1️⃣ Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/daymate.git
cd daymate

2️⃣ Set Up the Backend (Django)

cd backend
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows use `venv\Scripts\activate`
pip install -r requirements.txt
python manage.py migrate
python manage.py runserver

3️⃣ Set Up the Frontend (React)

cd frontend
npm install
npm start

4️⃣ Docker (Optional)

docker-compose up --build
