CD Rip 0.5.1 public beta

This release adds a guided four-step post-rip workflow, improved pasted and OCR tracklist review, automatic local-CLI proposals for unclear artist/title rows, album and compilation details, local playback, and safer handling of sessions whose exported files have moved.

Downloads

  • Apple Silicon: Macs with Apple M-series chips.
  • Intel: macOS 14 or later. Physical Intel hardware testing remains pending.

Both DMGs are Developer ID signed, Apple notarized, and stapled. CD-Rip-0.5.1-SHA256SUMS contains checksums for every release asset. The corresponding-source archive contains the third-party audio source archives, notices, and build scripts.

Notes

  • Audio extraction uses the bundled CD reader and conversion tools; Homebrew is not required for the DMG.
  • Codex CLI or Claude Code CLI are optional and must be installed and authenticated separately for AI features.
  • AccurateRip online lookup remains disabled pending third-party access approval. Local read checks and checksums remain available.
  • AI proposals require review. Audio fingerprint recognition is not included.
