Allay 6.0.0
Pairs with Allay Server 6.0, which wants every request signed in. Breaking: update the plugin before the backend. A self-hosted backend needs its PLUGIN_TOKEN in the new server.token; with allay.chat nothing changes for a subscription.
- 🔐 The plugin signs in to the backend. Every request carries
Authorization:server.tokenfor a self-hosted backend, else the license. Allay 5.x gets401from Server 6.0. - 🔑 Your own key needs a license as identity on
allay.chat. Allay gets one by itself on the first question, free, and keeps it inlicense.key; it pays for nothing./allay statusshows it. - 🛡️
/allay privacy. A player reads what Allay keeps about them on this server and for how long, and erases all of it after a confirmation. Admins export a player's data to an owner-only file inexports/(/allay privacy export <player>) or erase it (/allay privacy erase <player>) when the player asks them. - 🧭 Clear messages on a refused sign-in. Players read that Allay can't sign in; admins read what to set:
server.token, the backend'sPLUGIN_TOKEN, or why the identity license is missing. - 🙈 Nothing secret travels or shows. The key and the token go only to the backend's own host, on every redirect too; the token is masked in the log, and
http.loggingleaves players' ids out of URLs.
