v7.0 — Professor Python, lesson videos, and honest content

Everything since v5.0:

v6.0 groundwork

  • Offline vendor libraries (CodeMirror, Skulpt) bundled locally — the core
app now works with no internet
  • Fixed /api/generate-script 404 (route defined after app.run())

F11 — Professor Python's real teaching prompt

  • The AI tutor now uses the full Professor Python teaching-method system
prompt (hints before answers, predict-before-run questions, patient
pacing) instead of a generic placeholder. Tab renamed "AI Tutor" ->
    "Professor Python".

F16 — Personalization

  • Optional "About You" fields in Settings: your name and how you learn
best, passed to Professor Python as context. His core teaching method
never changes — these only add facts for him to work with.

F17 — Readability

  • Base text bumped to 16px / 1.6 line-height; A-/A/A+ text-size control
in Settings, scaling lessons, quizzes, tutor chat, and the code editor,
    saved between sessions.

F14 — In-app lesson panel (all 11 chapters)

  • A toggleable Video/Text lesson panel, reachable from any tab including
the sandbox. Video mode plays a silent code-typing animation in an
    editor+terminal split, with play/pause and a click/drag-scrub progress
bar. Every chapter has its own script.

Content-integrity rewrite (all 11 chapters)

  • Every sandbox challenge is now comment-only scaffolding — the student
writes the real code. Every quiz question is a genuine comprehension
check grounded in that chapter's own lesson, not near-verbatim recall.

Known issue: "Mark complete" currently awards XP without verifying the
challenge or quiz was attempted — fix planned.

v5.0 — Initial Release
