Although supported Lua version is still 5.4; note that `rust-analyzer` may report two warnings, which are actually not real - and in fact `rustc` does not
Also, modify Cargo.toml to make it evident where a parameter can be modified to use different versions of the Lua interpreter.

This PR focuses on optimizations: some deduplications help the executable to reduce its size, and in many places temporary values have been removed in order to even more avoid useless allocations.
