Klipp 0.2.0
Download Klipp-Setup.exe, run it, done. It installs for your user (no admin) and opens setup.
Windows may say it protected your PC, because the installer isn't signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. Signed builds are coming.
New
- One-click install. No pages to click through: setup opens Klipp, which checks your PC and asks a few questions.
- Setup that knows your PC. It tests your graphics card's encoders at your screen's size, checks memory and storage, finds your microphone and audio devices (including SteelSeries Sonar's separate tracks), and preselects the best video settings.
- Updates in one click. Klipp tells you when a new version is ready; updating takes seconds and recording carries on.
- "A clip is arriving." Saved clips show up in the library while they're being written.
- Any NVIDIA graphics card. Cards that can't record AV1 switch to H.264 by themselves.
- 1440p recording, for 4K screens.
Fixed
- Audio and the save sound follow your Windows default devices unless you pick others.
- Exports for sharing come out under the size limit on the first try, even for short clips.
