Klipp 0.2.1
Download Klipp-Setup.exe, run it, done. Already have Klipp? It offers this update itself.
Windows may say it protected your PC, because the installer isn't signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. Signed builds are coming.
New
- Pick the clips folder in a folder window, like in any other program, and move your clips there in one go. They keep their trims, favorites and thumbnails, even across drives.
- Hear the save sound while you set it up. Setup asks whether you want the sound and how loud, and ▶ plays it on the device you chose. Settings has ▶ too.
- Updates show up in the tray menu too, so you hear about them even if you rarely open the Klipp window.
- Copy details in Settings → About, and in setup when a PC can't record: your PC, settings and recent log, ready to paste into a message or a GitHub issue.
- What's new, in Settings → About. It's there when you want it; Klipp never opens it by itself.
- A warning before your clips drive fills up.
Changed
- Klipp plays its own save and error sounds only. Choosing your own WAV files is gone; if you had set one, the built-in sound plays instead.
Fixed
- Going back from a clip returns to the same place in the library.
- The first letter of a clip card's text is no longer cut off on scaled displays.
- The update card now says what updating does: recording restarts and the replay buffer is cleared. While CS2 is running it suggests waiting until after your match.
- On laptops whose screen runs on the built-in graphics, setup now explains why it can't record yet. The next update makes it record.
