Install the desktop app to get everything you need. No separate installation or terminal setup required.

The desktop app updates automatically by default. You can manage updates in Settings.

Install ORX on a remote machine

For remote servers and compute clusters, install ORX directly from a terminal:

curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -LsSf https://github.com/alphaXiv/OpenResearch/releases/download/v0.2.15/openresearch-cli-installer.sh | sh

To update an existing terminal installation, run orx update.
