First build of Juniper: a from-scratch Metal port of Einstein@Home's BRP4 Binary Radio Pulsar Search, for Apple Silicon GPUs. Resampling, FFT (via MPSGraph), power spectrum and harmonic summing all run natively on the GPU.

Status: early build. Candidate output has been checked against the companion CUDA port (brp4-cuda-port) on identical synthetic input — matching results on both strong- and weak-signal test cases. It hasn't been run on a real Einstein@Home work unit yet, so treat it as a preview rather than a finished release.

Current live Einstein@Home tasks use the newer BRP7 work format; this build (like the CUDA port) targets the classic BRP4 format, so for now it's best used with your own or synthetic input rather than a live project connection. See the README for details.

Package: juniper-macos-arm64-v0.1-dev.zip — binary + app_info.xml + app_config.xml + README, ready to drop into a BOINC project folder for anonymous-platform use.

Requires Apple Silicon (M1 or newer).
