Release list
v1.8.0
Show remaining Codex, Claude and Antigravity quotas in the menu bar after Switch Project.
- Blue cells show the remaining five-hour quota; green cells show the weekly quota. macOS draws equal-sized native cells, with a monochrome fallback on other platforms.
- Omit unavailable windows and show
(no data)when a provider has no valid quota. - Configure providers in Settings → AI Usage. Disabled providers are hidden and skipped during capture.
- Capture quotas in an isolated package, refresh in the background every two minutes, and expire stale data.
- Document provider authentication and platform behavior in README.
Validation: go test ./..., go test -race ./pkg/usage ./pkg/trayquota, and go vet ./... passed on macOS.
v1.7.0
Backlog v1.7.0
LAN project sharing with OTP pairing, TLS WebSockets and optimistic concurrency. Per-project SQLite storage with legacy migrations and portable backups. Redesigned DMG, simpler Network dialog, live discovery and macOS bundle identity fixes. Includes the upstream font-cache memory fix.
v1.6.1
Release v1.6.1: Fix memory leak in the task list
- Stop leaking parsed fonts every time a task row or the task title is rebuilt. Each per-widget theme override created a Fyne font cache that was never released (about 14 MB per row), which took the app to 1.4 GB after a few days of use. Rows and the title keep the same spacing and size through a plain layout instead.
v1.6.0
Release v1.6.0: SQLite storage and a wiki-style project specification
- Store projects, tasks and the specification in a SQLite database (backlog.db) instead of one JSON file per project. Every change is a single transaction with foreign keys and constraints, so a crash or a bad edit can no longer leave a half-written file.
- Import the existing JSON data automatically on first start, in one transaction; on success the JSON files are moved to json-backup-/, and a file that cannot be parsed stops the import and is named in the error.
- Write a daily database backup on start (backups/, newest 14 kept) and add the backup, export (json or md) and import commands.
- Turn the specification into a wiki: a main page plus pages that link to each other with text, read and edited one page at a time from the GUI and the MCP tools.
- Use a semi-monospaced Recursive font with code ligatures and extra leading for the specification.
v1.5.0
Release v1.5.0: Refined desktop UI, dependency trees, and safe task updates
-
Refresh the desktop interface with a restrained light/dark palette, clearer typography, softer priority badges, and more consistent spacing.
-
Group dependent tasks below their first visible prerequisite, using indentation and vector branch indicators aligned with the preceding level's checkbox.
-
Display dependency chains and sibling tasks together. Tasks with multiple prerequisites appear once and retain all dependency references in their details.
-
Preserve matching tasks when filters hide their prerequisites, and group subtasks under their parent when no prerequisite is visible.
-
Separate task titles from metadata and give task details more room by moving the progress chart into its own tab.
-
Improve narrow-window layouts and empty states. Replace emoji-based interface symbols with vector icons or plain text, including the broken dependency icon.
-
Preserve task descriptions when update_task omits the description field. An explicit empty description now clears it intentionally.
-
Fix clearing dependencies with depends_on="none" or "clear" over the HTTP-backed MCP connection. Empty dependency arrays survive serialization instead of being omitted.
-
Allow the task edit form to clear all dependencies.
-
Update priority filter counts when completed tasks are shown or hidden.
-
Improve chart contrast in both themes and prevent completed-count labels from overlapping the date axis.
-
Add regression coverage for partial MCP updates through both direct and HTTP backends, including persisted descriptions and dependencies.
-
Cover dependency ordering, multiple prerequisites, filtered tasks, mixed relationships, cycles, and recycled list rows.
-
Verify the interface in light and dark appearances and at reduced window sizes.
-
Full Go test suite passes.
