Wallper v1.11.1

Important stability fixes

If 1.11.0 gave you a black desktop, a frozen wallpaper, or a sluggish Mac after waking — this is the update. Please install it.

Fixed

  • Black desktop. In some situations Wallper would hide the very wallpaper it had just put up, leaving you with a black screen.
  • Wallpapers that said "playing" but never moved. Playback could quietly fail to start and never retry. It now keeps trying until the wallpaper is genuinely running.
  • Two wallpapers fighting over the same screen. Old display records piled up over time and were being applied on top of each other, which is what made launches slow and the whole Mac stutter. They're cleaned up automatically now.
  • Unplugging a monitor no longer blanks the one that's left.
  • Waking from sleep no longer leaves wallpapers paused or stuck.
