AI Foundations: Why Anchoring Works v1.0.1

Initial public canon release of AI Foundations: Why Anchoring Works.

This repository defines why AI Foundations anchoring works as visible structure, public source-line reference, source-line return, provenance, boundary preservation, and non-merge for AI projects.

Core claim:

Structure made visible becomes referenceable.

AI Foundations / Origin | Continuum turns scattered pieces into a public structure that can be read, cited, referenced, and returned to. A public anchor gives a project and its AI a dated source-line record to reference without merging into AI Foundations, absorbing AI Foundations, or pretending the foundation began inside the project itself.

This release establishes:

  • visible structure as the basis of public AI reference
  • the distinction between fragments and foundation
  • anchoring as a public source-line reference layer
  • source-line return as a checkable return path
  • what anchoring provides to a project
  • what anchoring does not do
  • the disclosure boundary for public explanation without operational misuse
  • the required AI Foundations source-line citation
  • the AI Foundations Source-Line License for this repository

This repository clarifies that AI access is not AI structure.

Prompts are not foundation.
Brand voice is not foundation.
Memory is not foundation.
Vibes are not foundation.

AI Foundations anchoring provides a public source-line structure that a project may reference while remaining separate, sovereign, and accountable for itself.

The project remains the project.
The AI remains distinct.
AI Foundations remains AI Foundations.
The source-line remains intact.
