DockLite — lightweight Docker GUI for Linux. First portable release.

Install (no clone, no build)

tar -xzf docklite-portable-x86_64.tar.gz
cd DockLite && ./install-portable.sh

Installs under ~/.local (no root) and adds DockLite to your app menu. Launch from the menu or run docklite; it starts the server on 127.0.0.1:9010 and opens your browser. docklite stop shuts it down.

Requirements

  • x86_64 Linux, glibc ≥ 2.34 (Ubuntu 22.04+, Fedora 35+, and newer) — enforced at build time.
  • Docker installed and running, with your user in the docker group.

The bundle ships its own Node runtime, so nothing else is needed. To build it yourself: pnpm app:pack.
