Lamium 0.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 22 Oct 06:13

Not an official LeviMC product. Not approved by LeviMC and not associated with LeviMC.

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.5 or later (26.51 series), Windows x64.

Before you update

  • World map storage changes. Saved maps move to a new, smaller file format (about 80% less disk space) in the background as you play. Once converted, going back to 0.2.x starts those maps from scratch (nothing is damaged; 0.2.x simply cannot read the new files).
  • Schematic controls are reworked. Movement, layers and the radial menu work differently; see below.
  • Settings from 0.2.3 load as before. Placed schematics keep their layer view; older Lamium versions can still read the placement file.

Changes since 0.2.3

  • Schematics:
    • Moving a placement follows the way you look, up and down included. The move target (the placement, a save corner or the whole save area) can be picked by looking at it or with a key.
    • Layers are now a cut plane along the schematic's own X, Y or Z: show one layer, or everything up to it from either side. Turning or mirroring a placement keeps the cut on the same blocks. Moving the cut while showing all layers goes back to the view you last adjusted.
    • The radial menu has six groups of five or six items. Every operation is reachable from the menu or from keys; the menu and key settings use the same groups, the menu shows the keys you bound, and the two "Move … →" entries use the target-cycle key. Only Alt + wheel (move the target away or closer) is bound by default.
    • The menu opens small in the lower right by default; a new "Repeat every menu step" option (off by default) lets the adjust key repeat the layer axis, mode and keep side.
    • A placement whose .mcstructure file is missing or cannot be read is reported once per world with a yellow notice, marked in the Placed list and named in the HUD. A file another program held open loads once it is released.
    • The docked Schematics screen keeps Show all off the tabs and stays usable on short windows (thanks to AFAlimru).
  • World map:
    • Recording follows your view distance, up to the game's maximum; while FreeCamera owns the view, it follows the camera.
    • A cave panel replaces the Nether band control; caves and the Nether read deeper, and FreeCamera shows its own position with a green arrow.
    • Faster, fairer chunk scanning and fewer gaps after zooming or flying far with FreeCamera.
    • Carpets, snow layers and other blocks that cover the ground show on the map instead of the block below them.
  • Info HUD and Target Info: a new Target block line, lines grouped by kind with a description each, the game's "Position" and "Exact position" names, and a target card that names the block you actually aim at.
  • FreeCamera: a setting for how long the underground view stays after you leave terrain, steadier underground drawing, and a fix for the halved frame rate.
  • Connected Textures: when the feature is on, a new "Edges at inside corners" switch keeps the frame where glass walls turn, and "Edges at glass pane corners" adds an edge on the outside of an L-shaped pane. Both are off by default and have their own help text; the flat-notch corner texel is kept whenever the feature is on. Connected Textures itself remains experimental and off by default.
  • Lamium Settings: tool rows have an Open button, long key bindings show in full on hover, the HUD layout editor's lines list scrolls and resets correctly, and the calculator opens from its General row.
  • Experimental badges: FreeCamera, Hand Restock, Tool Protection, Auto Elytra and Edge Guard are no longer marked experimental. Inventory transfer stays experimental and is now off for new installs (an existing setting is kept).
  • Fixes:
    • Wrong-typed settings sections and values, and an unknown stored restriction mode, fall back one by one instead of resetting every setting; a file that cannot be decoded at all is kept as settings.json.broken.
    • Schematic target selection, layer-change HUD counting and unreadable-file reloads were corrected: the target menu no longer picks a target in another dimension, the HUD counts again after a cut or move, and a file held open by another program loads once released.
    • A legacy placement whose structure file cannot be read no longer shows guessed layer values; its layer fields say the view is unavailable until the file loads.
    • The key settings draw a default multi-key chord as separate key caps, like a custom chord, and a held key that opens a tool screen no longer repeats into that screen.
    • Hidden distance fog stays next to the render distance.
    • The world map no longer creates map files above or below the world's height while FreeCamera flies, and a world without map storage no longer keeps its whole map in memory.

Install

In LeviLauncher, install or update Lamium from the mod browser (Bedrinth). For a manual install, extract Lamium-0.3.0-client-windows-x64.zip so that Lamium.dll and manifest.json end up in <instance>/mods/Lamium/, start Minecraft and press L on the title screen or in a world.

Known issues

  • Schematics, the world map and most other features are checked in local worlds; servers, other dimensions and very large schematic files are only partly verified.
  • Death layout restore sometimes restores after a death you did not expect, or in a layout that looks wrong; it stays experimental while this is investigated.
  • FreeCamera started while your head is inside a block keeps the inside-a-block view; step out first. Moving only the camera does not make the game generate new terrain.
  • FreeCamera flown past the edge of the loaded area can show only the sky (L-227).
  • Large terrain gaps after dimension changes or teleports were reported once; they did not recur in A/B tests, and walking near reloads them (L-243).
  • Edge Guard normally keeps you on the edge; under heavy lag or with a very small margin you can rarely still drop.
  • Changing the game language inside a world many times in a row froze the game once; a world allows one change per 10 seconds.
  • Skip server resource packs is checked on a test BDS with a cosmetic pack. Packs that add blocks, items, entities or menus will show those wrong.

See the README's Known issues for the full list.

Lamium 0.2.3

Choose a tag to compare

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 15 Oct 14:31

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.2.2

  • Item Transfer, more gestures (each with its own switch, on by default):
    • With a stack on the cursor, Shift + click an empty slot puts it there and gathers every matching item from the other side.
    • With a stack on the cursor, Shift + click outside the window drops it and every matching item in your inventory.
    • Holding the drop key: Ctrl + left drag drops one item from each slot you pass, Shift + right drag drops all but one, Shift + left drag drops whole stacks.
  • World map:
    • Switches in the top bar hide waypoints, placed schematics or shapes on the map. They are remembered.
    • The side panel lists waypoints, placed schematics or shapes; its header picks which. A click on a row centers the map on it.
    • The map closes with its own key even when that is a mouse button or a key combination. A plain left or right click stays a map click.
  • Lamium Settings:
    • On a small window the whole screen shrinks to fit instead of switching to a tab layout.
    • Long descriptions scroll in the footer with the wheel or the scrollbar; the list's scrollbar can be dragged too.
    • Number settings show their own help and range; how to change them is on the hint line.
    • F11 switches fullscreen while the screen is open.
    • When a feature cannot run (an unchecked game version, an unsupported LeviLamina version, or a game hook that failed), its help and the version tooltip say which part and why, and a toast names it on joining a world.
  • Fixes:
    • Fake Offhand: a block in your hand no longer keeps fireworks and similar offhand uses from working, food in your hand is eaten instead of placing the offhand block, and with blocks in both slots the one in your hand comes first.
    • Waypoint distances follow FreeCamera's position while it flies.
    • FreeCamera's underground terrain drawing works on LeviLamina Client 26.51.7.
    • Chat placed by Chat position no longer flashes at the top left when chat closes.

No settings migration is needed; settings from 0.2.2 load as before. New switches start with their defaults.

Install

In LeviLauncher, install or update Lamium from the mod browser (Bedrinth). For a manual install, extract Lamium-0.2.3-client-windows-x64.zip so that Lamium.dll and manifest.json end up in <instance>/mods/Lamium/, start Minecraft and press L on the title screen or in a world.

Known issues

  • Item Transfer's held-stack and drop gestures are checked in a chest screen in a local world only; other screens and servers are untested.
  • Changing the game language inside a world many times in a row froze the game once (the title screen does not); the cause is unknown, so a world allows one change per 10 seconds.
  • Skip server resource packs is checked on a test BDS with a cosmetic pack. Packs that add blocks, items, entities or menus will show those wrong.

Lamium 0.2.2

Choose a tag to compare

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 14 Oct 23:15

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.2.1

  • Item Transfer in every item screen, with bulk moves: besides chests, barrels and shulker boxes, transfers now work in furnaces, blast furnaces, smokers, brewing stands, hoppers, dispensers, droppers, crafters, beacons and other item screens. Fuel, ingredients, bottles and beacon payment go only to the slots that accept them; outputs are only taken from.
    • Ctrl + wheel or Alt + click moves every item of the hovered kind to the other side.
    • Ctrl + Shift + wheel or Alt + Shift + click moves everything. From your inventory it moves the main inventory and keeps the hotbar, or only the hotbar when you start over a hotbar slot.
    • Shift + right drag moves all but one item from each slot you pass.
    • Moves now go out together and land at once instead of one stack at a time. Each new gesture has its own switch in the settings (on by default).
  • Schematics:
    • The target card shows the ghost you aim at, as a block not placed yet. When the real block you look at differs from the schematic, the card says first what is wrong (wrong block, extra block or wrong state), then what it should be.
    • Ghost tint is now a strength from 0% to 100% (default 70%), and ghost outlines can be thin, normal (default) or thick. Mistake outlines no longer flicker where different results meet.
    • Shulker box openings are checked and marked in the world. Piston heads and arms draw in ghosts and in the 3D preview.
    • See-through ghosts such as glass flicker less where they meet other ghosts or real glass. Schematic keys and the menu now say when Schematics is off.
    • Target Info has a "Show schematic information" switch.
  • Chat position (off by default, Information): chat messages at the bottom left as on Java Edition, movable in the HUD layout editor.
  • FreeCamera: the hand (default), the hand and hotbar, or the whole HUD can be hidden while it flies.
  • Fake Offhand: the offhand item is also used when the item in your hand has nothing to do where you aim (bread at full hunger, a shovel on stone, seeds on stone and similar).
  • Auto Elytra: a Riptide trident launch puts the elytra on.
  • World map: zooms out until everything you have explored fits on the screen.
  • Settings: L also closes Lamium Settings.
  • Fixes:
    • The schematic preview could crash after leaving and rejoining a world.
    • Lamium's overlay lines (shapes, chunk borders, schematic corners) are no longer hidden by the game's black block selection outline.
    • Zooming the world map back in after a far view could keep blurry tiles or reuse a tile too early.
    • The "Done" and "Shown" headers in Schematics > Placed no longer run into each other.

No settings migration is needed; settings from 0.2.1 load as before. New actions start unbound.

Install

In LeviLauncher, install or update Lamium from the mod browser (Bedrinth). For a manual install, extract Lamium-0.2.2-client-windows-x64.zip so that Lamium.dll and manifest.json end up in <instance>/mods/Lamium/, start Minecraft and press L on the title screen or in a world.

Known issues

  • Item Transfer's new moves are checked in chest, furnace, brewing stand and beacon screens, locally and on a test BDS. Other screen families, other servers and rejected moves on laggy servers are untested.
  • Enchanted shields show no glint in Lamium's item icons.
  • Under Vibrant Visuals, Night Vision has no effect and schematic ghosts lose their light-blue tint.
  • Hide effects cannot hide the carved pumpkin overlay or the spyglass frame yet.
  • Multiplayer servers, controllers and broad resource-pack/graphics coverage are not verified.

Lamium 0.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 13 Oct 18:35

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.2.0

  • Settings from the title screen: press L on the title screen (and in most menus before a world), or click "Lamium 0.2.1" in its bottom right corner, to open Lamium Settings. Views made of one world's data (Shapes, Waypoints, Schematics, the world map, the HUD layout editor) are dimmed there and open only in a world.
  • Calculator: a small calculator over the game, from its own key or the settings sidebar. Units for stacks (st), chests and shulker boxes (ch, sb) and large chests (lc), functions, history cards and copy buttons. Nothing typed is sent to chat or the server.
  • Text fields: every Lamium text field has a caret, Delete, paste and click placement.
  • Repeated villager trades: Shift + right click on a trade row repeats it until it sells out, the inputs run out or the output no longer fits (on by default; left click and plain right click are unchanged).
  • Status effects HUD (off by default): active effects with icons, numeric levels and remaining time, placed in the HUD layout; the game's own effect icons are hidden while it shows. Arrows and fireworks are counted beside bow, crossbow and elytra durability.
  • Hide effects: the Nether portal's purple screen can be hidden.
  • Connected Textures: each connected face is now drawn as one piece with a texture generated from your resources (including Vibrant Visuals texture sets), so glass, panes, bookshelves and sandstone keep their texture's own scale.
  • Edge Guard: now also stops at edges on servers (checked on a test BDS, including server position corrections), refuses slab placements that would push you off, and has an adjustable edge margin.
  • Hotkeys: "Find by key" shows which actions use the key you press.
  • Game language (experimental, General settings): change Minecraft's display language from Lamium, also inside a world, from all the languages the game offers. Inside a world one change per 10 seconds is allowed.
  • Skip server resource packs (experimental, off by default, General settings): a server's resource packs are downloaded and accepted as it asks, but not shown; the world looks vanilla. Local worlds keep their packs. A toast says how many were left out. Applies from the next join.
  • Fixes:
    • After changing resource packs during a session (global resources, or a server or world with its own packs), blocks Lamium had looked at for the minimap could keep the previous pack's texture in the world until restart. Lamium now reads texture images from the packs directly.
    • Chunk Borders and Hitboxes no longer break up on walls.
    • Low bookshelves above glass turned dark under Vibrant Visuals.
    • The Connected Textures action showed its translation key in search; settings and action labels are now checked everywhere.

No settings migration is needed; settings from 0.2.0 load as before. New actions start unbound.

Install

In LeviLauncher, install or update Lamium from the mod browser (Bedrinth). For a manual install, extract Lamium-0.2.1-client-windows-x64.zip so that Lamium.dll and manifest.json end up in <instance>/mods/Lamium/, start Minecraft and press L on the title screen or in a world.

Known issues

  • Changing the game language inside a world many times in a row froze the game once (the title screen does not); the cause is unknown, so a world allows one change per 10 seconds.
  • Skip server resource packs is checked on a test BDS with a cosmetic pack. Packs that add blocks, items, entities or menus will show those wrong. On a server that requires its packs, the game itself turns off your global resource packs, so the look is vanilla, not your own packs.
  • Enchanted shields show no glint in Lamium's item icons. Enchanted leather armor shows its undyeable parts see-through there (unenchanted leather draws whole).
  • Under Vibrant Visuals, Night Vision has no effect and schematic ghosts lose their light-blue tint.
  • Hide effects cannot hide the carved pumpkin overlay or the spyglass frame yet.
  • Edge Guard is checked in local worlds and on a test BDS; other servers and their anti-cheat are untested.
  • Multiplayer servers, controllers and broad resource-pack/graphics coverage are not verified.

Lamium 0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 11 Oct 13:33

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.1.9

0.2.0 reorganizes much of Lamium's inside and links features more closely. Behavior you already know should stay the same; the visible changes are below.

  • World map layers: schematic placements and Shapes show on the world map. Click one to select it; its menu shows or hides it, or opens it in the Schematics or Shapes screen. Shapes can also show on the minimap (Map option "Shapes", off by default). Names on the world map now appear when the pointer is over a mark, on a dark plate; the option "Always show names" shows them all.
  • Zoom: the wheel now stops at 1x. The new Zoom option "Wide-angle view" (off by default) lets it go down to 0.5x as before.
  • Debug View hides the game's own position line and paper doll while it is open, and the Info HUD hides them where it covers them (both options, on by default). The game's settings are not changed.
  • HUD layout editor: the game's hotbar is shown where it sits in play, to place elements beside it.
  • Unverified game versions: on a Minecraft version Lamium has not been checked on, the parts that depend on it stay vanilla instead of risking a crash: Night Vision's light, Edge Guard, Connected Textures, some hide effects, FreeCamera's underground view and schematic ghost blocks. A toast on joining a world, the toggle toasts and the settings screen say which features are paused.
  • Fixes:
    • Enchanted items lost their glint in the Shulker/Bundle previews and the inventory HUD in 0.1.9; it is back.
    • Ghosts of two schematic placements on the same blocks flickered; the placement earlier in the Placed list now draws them.
    • Long file names in the Schematics Files tab ran over the Size column.
  • The schematic save area's corners now sit on the block's faces and use the overlay's face opacity.
  • Downloads: the symbols file (Lamium.pdb) is no longer inside the ZIP. It is attached separately as Lamium-0.2.0-client-windows-x64.pdb.zip for crash reports; LeviLauncher and LIP install the ZIP only.

No settings migration is needed; settings from 0.1.9 load as before. New options take the defaults above; no new keys.

Install

In LeviLauncher, install or update Lamium from the mod browser (Bedrinth). For a manual install, extract Lamium-0.2.0-client-windows-x64.zip so that Lamium.dll and manifest.json end up in <instance>/mods/Lamium/, start Minecraft, enter a world and press L.

Known issues

  • Enchanted shields show no glint in Lamium's item icons. Enchanted leather armor shows its undyeable parts see-through there (unenchanted leather draws whole).
  • Under Vibrant Visuals, Night Vision has no effect and schematic ghosts lose their light-blue tint.
  • Hiding the paper doll and position line, and the hotbar in the HUD layout editor, are checked with the desktop layout only, not the Pocket UI.
  • Connected Textures is checked in local worlds with the vanilla resources in Fancy graphics; Vibrant Visuals, resource packs with other border widths and servers are not verified.
  • Hide effects cannot hide the carved pumpkin overlay or the spyglass frame yet.
  • Multiplayer servers, controllers and broad resource-pack/graphics coverage are not verified.

Lamium 0.1.9

Choose a tag to compare

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 10 Oct 22:23

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.1.8

  • Connected Textures (experimental, off by default): glass, glass panes, bookshelves and sandstone next to the same block draw as one surface, without the borders between blocks. Stained glass joins only the same color. Glass, bookshelves and sandstone keep the texture's own scale; joined glass panes stretch their glass by one texel at the joins.
  • Player list: hold Tab to see the players in the world, with faces, platform, dimension, distance and permission marks. Players in another dimension show the dimension they were last seen in, faded.
  • Inventory HUD (off by default): your inventory as a 9x3 grid on the HUD, and a used-slots counter such as 13/36. Each has its own switch.
  • Trade screen: every trader level is listed, with locked trades dimmed; hover a locked trade's item to see its name.
  • English search: the recipe book and creative search also find items by their English name and ID, in any game language.
  • Debug View: the entity total is broken down by kind, with the most common entity types.
  • FreeCamera (experimental): the Info HUD and Debug View show the camera's own position and facing, waypoints can be added where the camera is, and an option leaves FreeCamera when your body is hit.
  • Night Vision now lights everything evenly, without dark rings around light sources (on by default; can be turned off).
  • Vibrant Visuals: in 0.1.8, hiding distance fog turned the world magenta and flickering. Distance fog now stays vanilla there.
  • Item icons in Lamium's previews and HUD are drawn the way vanilla slots draw them, so leather armor shows its undyeable part. The offhand slot icon lines up with the hotbar.

No settings migration is needed; settings from 0.1.8 load as before. New keys start unbound, except Tab for the player list.

Install

In LeviLauncher, install or update Lamium from the mod browser (Bedrinth). For a manual install, extract Lamium-0.1.9-client-windows-x64.zip so that Lamium.dll and manifest.json end up in <instance>/mods/Lamium/, start Minecraft, enter a world and press L.

Known issues

  • Connected Textures is checked in local worlds with the vanilla resources in Fancy graphics; Vibrant Visuals, resource packs with other border widths and servers are not verified.
  • The player list is checked locally, on a dedicated server and in a LAN world; the locked trades only in local worlds.
  • Under Vibrant Visuals, Night Vision has no effect and schematic ghosts lose their light-blue tint.
  • Enchanted shields show no glint in Lamium's item icons (offhand slot, Shulker/Bundle previews, the inventory HUD).
  • Hide effects cannot hide the carved pumpkin overlay or the spyglass frame yet.
  • Multiplayer servers, controllers and broad resource-pack/graphics coverage are not verified.

Lamium 0.1.8

Choose a tag to compare

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 09 Oct 15:53

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.1.7

  • Schematics (experimental):
    • Saved files now use the game's current .mcstructure format and load in a structure block and other tools. Saving an area also keeps block entity data (beds, signs, banners, heads, containers).
    • Ghosts draw doors, beds and two-block-tall blocks whole, connect fences and panes to their schematic neighbors, and follow mirroring the way a structure block does. Honey and slime draw with their own look, and translucent ghosts no longer hide what is behind them. Missing water and lava draw as sloped, flowing or still liquid, and waterlogged blocks show their water.
    • Block entities draw with their saved data (bed colors, sign text, banners, heads). Missing entities draw as their models instead of dashed frames where the game has a model.
    • The Files and Check tabs have a 3D preview: turn it, zoom it with the wheel, peel layers with Shift+wheel, and click a block to inspect it. The Check tab's preview is colored by mistake kind.
    • Placements show on the minimap and the world map, and the selected placement has a solid frame in the world.
    • The target card shows the expected block's icon and what to change ("Should be ...", one row per differing state with readable names).
    • Materials are shown as chests and stacks, missing items as slots, and the list can be opened in ResourceCalculator.
    • Several large placements draw faster (about 45-60 fps where 30-50 before, in the maintainer's test).
  • Hide effects: a new "Distance fog" effect removes the fog at the edge of the view on land, in the Nether and in the End. Render distance is unchanged, so the edge of the loaded world shows. It is selected by default like the other effects, so if the Hide effects main switch is already on, distance fog is hidden after updating. Turn the effect off under Hide effects to keep the fog.
  • FreeCamera (experimental): underground terrain now draws when the camera is inside the ground, so caves and builds below the surface can be viewed (checked in a local world and on a dedicated server).
  • Death layout restore (experimental, off by default): when you pick up the items dropped at your death point, your hotbar, armor and offhand go back the way they were. "Also restore the inventory" does the same for the rest of the inventory.
  • Breaking restriction: modes are anchored where you start breaking, and a height band mode is added. The modes will be redesigned in a later version.
  • Fake Offhand no longer launches a firework when a right click opens a door or places a block, including the last block of a stack.
  • Lamium's HUD and in-world waypoint markers hide with F1, and target card text no longer spills out while the card resizes.

No settings migration is needed; settings from 0.1.7 load as before. New keys start unbound.

Install

In LeviLauncher, install or update Lamium from the mod browser (Bedrinth). For a manual install, extract Lamium-0.1.8-client-windows-x64.zip so that Lamium.dll and manifest.json end up in <instance>/mods/Lamium/, start Minecraft, enter a world and press L.

Known issues

  • Schematics are checked in local worlds; servers, other dimensions and very large files are not verified. Entity models stay in their rest pose with the default skin, and sheep wool is not drawn.
  • Under Vibrant Visuals, distance fog hiding and Night Vision have no effect, and schematic ghosts lose their light-blue tint.
  • Death layout restore is checked in local worlds; with instant respawn it may restore nothing. Servers with latency are untested.
  • Weapon Switch, the offhand swap and Fake Offhand item use are checked locally; on servers with latency they are not verified.
  • Enchanted shields show no glint in the offhand slot and in Shulker/Bundle previews, and leather armor icons miss their undyeable part there and in the Durability HUD.
  • Hide effects cannot hide the carved pumpkin overlay or the spyglass frame yet.
  • Multiplayer servers, controllers and broad resource-pack/graphics coverage are not verified.

Lamium 0.1.7

Choose a tag to compare

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 07 Oct 11:48

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.1.6

  • Schematics (experimental, off by default). Place .mcstructure files from mods/Lamium/schematics/ as ghost blocks: move, turn, mirror and show layers along any axis. Missing, wrong and misplaced blocks are marked in the world and listed in a Check tab; a Materials tab counts what is left against what you carry (Shulker Boxes included). Save an area of the world as a schematic, also one larger than the render distance by walking along it. A radial schematic menu and an adjust key (repeat the last adjustment with the wheel) cover the common steps during play.
  • Weapon Switch: picks the strongest hotbar weapon when you attack (enchantments counted), and can fetch one from the inventory.
  • Tool Switch and Weapon Switch can fetch into a fixed hotbar slot instead of the selected one.
  • Offhand swap key (F), as in Java, for the real offhand and for Fake Offhand. Rebind or clear it in Hotkeys if F is taken.
  • Fake Offhand now uses instant items too (fireworks, ender pearls, snowballs and similar), not only blocks. Food, bows, potions and tridents stay with vanilla.
  • Hand Restock: a refill threshold and a source order (inventory or hotbar first).
  • Inventory transfer also works from the inventory screen, in every game mode.
  • Map: foliage tinted like the world, deeper relief, teleport from the world map whenever the server lets you run /tp (also with cheats off, when the server allows the command), and players beyond entity range shown where the Locator Bar knows them.
  • HUD: a shared line height, per-line backgrounds with an opacity setting, and section headings.
  • Zoom's wheel goes down to 0.5x for a wider view.
  • The settings header shows the Lamium version (click to copy); the Debug View's first line adds the LeviLamina version.

No settings migration is needed; settings from 0.1.6 load as before. New keys start unbound, except the offhand swap (F).

Install

In LeviLauncher, install or update Lamium from the mod browser (Bedrinth). For a manual install, extract Lamium-0.1.7-client-windows-x64.zip so that Lamium.dll and manifest.json end up in <instance>/mods/Lamium/, start Minecraft, enter a world and press L.

Known issues

  • Schematics are checked in local worlds in the Overworld; servers, other dimensions, very large files and block entity contents from files are not verified. Beds are sometimes drawn half, and heads, doors and honey blocks show as outlines.
  • Weapon Switch, the offhand swap and Fake Offhand item use are checked locally; on servers with latency they are not verified.
  • The map is experimental: checked in local worlds and, for radar players, with other players; servers and very large worlds are not verified.
  • Enchanted shields show no glint in the offhand slot and in Shulker/Bundle previews.
  • Leather armor icons miss their undyeable part in the Durability HUD and in Shulker/Bundle previews.
  • Hide effects cannot hide the carved pumpkin overlay or the spyglass frame yet.
  • Multiplayer servers, controllers and broad resource-pack/graphics coverage are not verified.

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 02 Oct 13:13

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.1.5

  • Simplified Chinese UI (follows the game language). This is a first, AI-assisted translation; corrections are welcome (Translating).
  • Offhand slot beside the hotbar, with count and durability bar (off by default).
  • Saturation as gold outlines on the vanilla hunger bar; holding food previews what eating it would add (on by default).
  • Target card hearts use real health units (one heart per 2 HP, up to five rows; stronger mobs show the bar).
  • Durability and food values now appear inside the game's own item tooltip instead of a separate box.

No settings migration is needed; settings from 0.1.5 load as before. New keys start unbound.

@amatouhake amatouhake released this 01 Oct 19:07

Lamium, client-side quality-of-life tools for Minecraft Bedrock and LeviLamina Client.

Supported: Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.51.01, LeviLamina Client 26.51.x, Windows x64.

Changes since 0.1.4

  • Map (new, experimental, off by default), under Map in the settings:
    • Minimap HUD element colored from your block textures: size, range, north or heading up, round or square, compass, coordinates and biome lines, and a key to enlarge it while held. Under a roof in the dark and in the Nether it shows a cave view around your height.
    • Radar: nearby players (with names), hostile and passive mobs and, optionally, dropped items as dots. "Players and mobs as faces" (off by default) draws mobs as their faces, cut from the textures your game already has, and players as the heads of their skins, character-creator skins included. A key flips faces and dots while held.
    • Waypoints with the last death point, on the minimap and in the world, edited in a Waypoints screen.
    • World map (M) of the areas you have visited, recorded per world, with a waypoint side panel. Its menu can open the same place in ChunkBase's seed map and copy the seed.
  • Every saved feature switch can now be given a toggle key, and the settings categories are reordered.
  • The Waypoints and Shapes editors show every color as a swatch.
  • Japanese IME: backspace during composition no longer leaves stray text in Lamium's text fields.
  • Zoom: the setting and the mouse wheel share the same 2x lower limit, and Zoom sensitivity applies to the detached camera too.
  • The out-of-range number warning in the settings disappears once you move elsewhere.

The world map key is M; all other new keys start unbound, and existing default keys are unchanged. Settings from 0.1.4 load as before.

Known issues

  • The map is experimental: checked in local worlds and, for radar players, with other players; servers and very large worlds are not verified. Some servers may treat seeing mobs and players through walls as unfair.
  • A few mob faces are not right yet (silverfish and tadpoles stay dots; camel and hoglin faces may look off); skins with custom head models are untested.
  • Hide effects cannot hide the carved pumpkin overlay or the spyglass frame yet.
  • Leather armor icons miss their undyeable part in the Durability HUD and in Shulker/Bundle previews.
  • Hand Restock may skip a refill under server lag or very fast use.
  • FreeCamera is experimental; looking from inside solid blocks, distant caves can be cut off along chunk lines.
  • Edge Guard is verified in local worlds only; servers may still move the player over the edge.
  • Multiplayer servers, controllers and broad resource-pack/graphics coverage are not verified.
