[2.18.0-beta.21] - 2026-08-26

Two follow-ups from @NotRetarded's #62.

Fixed

  • An update tells you when a container had to be force-killed. When we recreate a container we stop the old one; if the app ignores SIGTERM, Docker SIGKILLs it after the grace and it exits 137. docker stop reports success either way, so the result used to read a bare "✅ updated" and you'd only learn of the hard-kill from an external monitor. The recreate now checks the old container's exit code and adds "⚠️ old container force-killed (ignored SIGTERM)" when it happened.

Changed

  • A Compose recreate gets the same stop grace as a docker run one. A standalone recreate gave the old container ~60s to stop (DOCKER_STOP_TIMEOUT); the compose recreate passed no --timeout, so Compose fell back to its own 10s default — making a 137 far likelier on compose containers for no reason other than the shorter default. It passes the configured timeout now.
