• Transport retries in the reference client: transport failures (reset, refused, timeout, 5xx without results) are retried with
  jittered backoff, at most 3 posts within one deadline; an answer with results is never resent.
• The reference service listens with a backlog of 1024 (configurable via --backlog).
• Transport failures are retried in one place, so attempts do not multiply.
• ExecResult.transport and seal stats["transport"] record attempts, reasons and give-ups.
• Post hoc example verifies the trainer's evidence binding on every sidecar (--no-evidence-binding for older runs).
• Scorer refuses a prior score of another execution on every path.
