Slide MCP Server v3.1.0

Headline

The recommended install path for Claude Desktop is now a single
slide-mcp-server.mcpb file you drag onto Claude Desktop's
Extensions screen. The bundle is signed and notarized; Claude Desktop
prompts for your Slide API token, stores it in its own per-user state,
and selects the right binary for your OS at runtime.

The retired Fyne GUI installer is gone, replaced by the .mcpb. See
CHANGELOG.md
for the full v3.1.0 + v3.0.0 writeup (SDK migration to
mark3labs/mcp-go and Slide API v1.27.0 coverage are also included).

Installation

Claude Desktop (drag and drop, recommended)

Download slide-mcp-server.mcpb below and drop it onto Claude
Desktop's Extensions screen. Claude Desktop will prompt for your Slide
API token and start the server automatically. The .mcpb contains
signed binaries for macOS (universal Apple Silicon + Intel), Linux
(amd64 + arm64), and Windows (amd64).

The unversioned download URL never has to change per release:

Claude Code

claude mcp add slide --env SLIDE_API_KEY=tk_... -- /path/to/slide-mcp-server

Standalone binaries (Cursor, CI, custom hosts)

  • macOS (universal Apple Silicon + Intel): slide-mcp-server-v3.1.0-darwin-universal.tar.gz
  • Linux x64: slide-mcp-server-v3.1.0-linux-amd64.tar.gz
  • Linux ARM64: slide-mcp-server-v3.1.0-linux-arm64.tar.gz
  • Windows x64: slide-mcp-server-v3.1.0-windows-x64.zip

Per-arch macOS tarballs (darwin-amd64.tar.gz / darwin-arm64.tar.gz)
and macos-* aliases are also published for backward compatibility.

macOS Security

The macOS universal binary is signed with the Slide Developer ID and
notarized by Apple. Gatekeeper accepts it online without warnings on
macOS 10.15+. (Stapled tickets are not produced for raw Mach-O
binaries — Apple can't staple them — but online verification works.)
