Amader Bangla Keyboard 0.11.0

A Windows phonetic Bangla keyboard (TSF input method). Type romanized Bangla in
any app; switch with Win+Space. Now available on winget:
winget install Amerganim.AmaderBanglaKeyboard.

New in 0.11.0

  • Smart juktakkhor — consonants now join into a conjunct only when they form
a real juktakkhor, so zkhn → যখন (not য্খ্ন), while every conjunct still
    works. Pronunciation spellings: biggan → বিজ্ঞান, onchol → অঞ্চল.
  • Forgiving suggestions — ambiguous spellings still find the right word
    (nodi → নদী, akas → আকাশ, math → মাঠ); exact spellings rank first.
  • c → চ, and uppercase letters no longer leak English (C → চ).

Highlights

  • Phonetic engine: vowels/kar, conjuncts (juktakkhor), anusvara, chandrabindu,
    visarga, dari, khanda-ta, ref/ya-phala, ya/ja distinction, bo-phola, digits.
  • Live underlined composition; Space/Enter commit; Backspace edits.
  • Bangla/English toggle (Ctrl+Shift+B) + language-bar button.
  • Word suggestions: curated dictionary + ~65k-word completion (Google bn
lexicon, CC BY 4.0) that learns your choices.
  • Built-in typing guide (Start Menu + language-bar menu).
  • x64 + x86 + ARM64 binaries; architecture-aware installer.

Install

Extract the zip, right-click install.ps1Run with PowerShell (it
elevates). Then Win+Space → “Amader Bangla Keyboard”. See README.md inside the
zip. No restart needed; no fonts needed (Windows ships Nirmala UI).

Note: binaries are not yet code-signed, so SmartScreen may warn.
