Installing TRMM on an existing Mesh server and how to integrate it?

This has been asked here but the answer is five years old.

I have an existing mesh server running on Hertzner and want to install / integrate TRMM into it.

Are there updated definitive instructions (prefereably idiot-proof) on how to get both a new TRMM install and existing Mesh playing nicely with each other on the same server?
