Embed the custom card into the integration to simplify installation
🚨 Important Upgrade Notice – Action Required
This release bundles the custom card directly into the integration.
There are no functional or UX changes - everything works exactly as before.
❗❗ MANDATORY: Remove the old card BEFORE upgrading
If you previously installed the standalone custom card (via HACS or manually), you must remove it before upgrading.
⚠️ Do NOT skip this step - both versions use the same name (daily-schedule-card), and leaving the old one installed will cause conflicts / break the UI.
👉 Required actions
- Remove
lovelace-daily-schedule-cardbefore upgrading - If installed via HACS → remove it from HACS
- If installed manually →
- Delete the card files
- Remove its resource registration
✅ After upgrade
- No dashboard changes are needed
- The integrated card is fully backward compatible
- Existing configurations will continue to work as-is
