MacClaude 0.2.6 fixes session identity checks that could pause switching after a macOS update or reboot. Session ownership now uses the volume UUID and inode, so a changed mount device number does not make the same folder look unfamiliar. Older identity records still require their original device number; ambiguous or replaced storage continues to stop safely.

Account switching is now enabled for Claude Desktop 2.19675.0, alongside 2.9939.4. Native round-trip checks verified history display, rename persistence, conversation continuation and tool use in a Git worktree with uncommitted changes. Claude's own auto-archive policy, worktree pooling and trust timestamp updates are accounted for. Original-account responses were blocked by billing; thinking retention and continuation across a model change remain unknown.

This release also includes the recovery and interface fixes merged since 0.2.5: safer interrupted-transfer recovery, cheaper refreshes and clearer account availability.

Requires macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon. This is an unofficial preview. Other Claude versions can reopen the verified session owner, but transfers remain paused pending review. Existing legacy storage identity errors require investigation; this release does not blindly adopt a folder it cannot verify.

Validation: 100 isolated tests passed (85 core, 15 application), native compatibility evidence is recorded in docs/TESTING.md, and the app is signed by Snega AS and notarized by Apple.
