SuperCAS 1.0 — play & capture real MSX tapes. First public release, for macOS and Windows.
The honest line. The tape format, the loaders, the pulse turbo, the CLAUDE MSX bridge, the VOLUME CAL 2 calibration tape ("a day at the beach") and the SPLASH 2 loading screen were all proven on a real MSX, a Philips VG-8010, from both builds: macOS (VOLUME CAL 2 on 5 September 2026, SPLASH 2 on 8 September 2026) and Windows (bridge and VOLUME CAL 2 on 8 September 2026, SPLASH 2 on 11 September 2026, from the final installer). The macOS rounds ran on the build of 8 September; the package published here adds only the ROM-name fix of 10 September (Python side, Z80 loaders byte-identical). The digital round-trip — audio generated, decoded back, identical bytes — is verified on both; the final word belongs to the cassette port, and it has spoken.

The two PDFs attached here are the macOS edition of the manual (screenshots from the Mac); the Windows packages carry their own edition, same guide, laid out on Windows screenshots.
Windows SmartScreen: the first time you run SuperCAS.exe, the Setup or Install SuperCAS.exe, Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". Normal for a free program without a code-signing certificate — SmartScreen measures reputation, not safety. Click More info, then Run anyway.
