What is a growth mindset? Lesson 01

It's extremely important to maintain a growth mindset, especially with a course like this! intense learning really requires it Image of a fixed vs growth mindset with keywords

Growth mindset describes a way of viewing challenges and setbacks. People who have a growth mindset believe that even if they struggle with certain skills, their abilities aren't set in stone. They think that with work, their skills can improve over time.

These are the key elements of a growth mindset:

  1. Intelligence can be developed. A fixed mindset might say intelligence is static. ...
  2. Embrace challenges. ...
  3. Persist in the face of setbacks. ...
  4. See effort as a path to mastery. ...
  5. Learn from criticism. ...
  6. Find inspiration in the success of others.

A little about me

I am a (now retired!) recruiter, part time but soon-to-be full time content creator and coach, and digital product entrepreneur.

I love connecting with people, creating beautiful things, and making a lasting difference in people's lives.

Where I'm From

I'm a Londoner through and through, but I lived in Toronto for just under two years, and since the start of COVID I've been based in Cambridge, UK (where I was born, and in the same house again too!)

I just got engaged to the love of my life! Here's a photo from our 70's theme engagement party Image of a group of people in 70's gear
