What's new in 1.0.2

  • Runs on macOS 13 Ventura and later. 1.0.1 only loaded on macOS 27, and 1.0.0 only on macOS 26 Tahoe and later. Nothing else changed: same sound, same features as 1.0.1.

LoopNest is a loop-curation instrument. Curate a folder of loops, spin a random one, shape it through a six-stage lo-fi rack, and hatch a .wav you drag straight onto a track.

Install (macOS 13+, Apple Silicon)

  • VST3 (Ableton, Reaper, Bitwig, Cubase, Studio One …) → ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
  • AU (Logic, GarageBand, MainStage) → ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

Restart your DAW after copying. Bundles are ad-hoc signed (no Developer ID). If Gatekeeper blocks them, right-click → Open, or:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine LoopNest.vst3 LoopNest.component
